On Tuesday 6 October 2015 Britain’s top film talent will join forces for the BFI’s fundraising gala LUMINOUS, in partnership with IWC Schaffhausen.

LUMINOUS is a unique event that celebrates British film and film talent whilst helping to secure the future of the BFI National Archive - the UK’s National Collection of film and TV and one of the greatest heritage collections in the world.

The BFI seeks an expert creative event management and production agency to: • Advise on the best event layout and set up – creating and producing detailed floor plans of the event spaces and guest flow. • Collaborate with the Light Surgeons and the BFI team to design a world class, creative and distinctive cinematic gala dinner – with clear philanthropic aims. • Manage and contract all lighting, sound, rigging, decorative, security, stage management and logistical personnel. • Manage the requirements of the live musical act. • Oversee all production installation and de-installation according to rules and procedures determined by the venue and within allotted hours of venue hire. • In collaboration with the BFI, create a detailed Event Schedule with timings for catering, press, talent arrivals, speeches, filmed-material, auction, live performances. • In collaboration with the BFI and the services of a script writer, produce a detailed script for all onstage activity and announcements. • Provide all stage management and production management personnel. • In collaboration with all contributors, compile all on-screen content into a cohesive show-package. • Assist with the catering selection and supplier and all elements of hospitality. • Film and record the event and make a very short edit available to press agencies and for bfi.org.uk the next day. • Provide support and advice to the BFI’s social media team, specifically drawing attention to the online auction.
