The brief

'Street-lighting equipment.

Street-lighting equipment.

To supply up to 9 920 light-emitting diode (LED) street luminaires to replace a similar number of Low Pressure Sodium (SOX), High Pressure Sodium (SON) and CosmoPolis luminaires currently installed in residential roads and principle roads across the borough.

The luminaires will be fitted to the existing lighting columns by the Contracting Authority's term street lighting contractor; therefore installation will not be a requirement of this contract.

In order to be considered for this contract interested parties will be required to provide Photometric Data for their proposed luminaire as part of their tender submission.

Tenderers who do not submit this data will not be considered for the contract.

The proposed luminaires must be approved for use under the Balancing and Settlement Code (BSC) Unmetered Supplies Arrangements and shall have all necessary Charge Code/s in place.

All luminaires must come complete with integral Central Management System (CMS) capability and shall be fitted with control devices to enable individual luminaires to be remotely controlled and managed by an ELEXON approved Central Management System (CMS).'
