Rebranding - Internal Signage
This sits in the upper-middle of the Transport Equipment band — a substantial contract for the sector. Based on 15,368 valued Transport Equipment tenders in our corpus.
The University introduced a new brand in 2017 as part of this work the external signage has been replaced.
A survey has been conducted and the University has identified all of its internal signage which it wishes to replace with the new brand.
There are approximately 7,500 signs spread across the entire campus in 70 buildings.
These include: main teaching building, halls of residence, offices, sports buildings, and laboratories.
Generally, the scope of work will be to: check the sign size, produce a proof of the revised insert design, check this with the University, make any necessary changes, produce the new sign, replace the sign in the existing Artemis holder and replace the coloured endcaps with a stock silver endcap.
Broadly the signage covered within the scope of this procurement include: Directories, wayfinding signage, door numbers, information signs, and mandatory safety signage.
The signage is a mixture of different types, sizes, and ages and some rationalisation is proposed within the constraints of the budget.
This procurement is to appoint a contractor to undertake the design and installation of new signage inserts and the upgrade of the existing sign holders which is to be completed by no later than Friday 26 June 2020.
