The brief

Quotes requested from Six suppliers on 23/04/2021 Deadline for submissions 04/05/2021 Outcome required / Description of works: 900 metres of improved walking surface on FP9.

The walked route will be a minimum of 1.2 metres wide with a maximum width of 1.5 metres.

Contractors will be expected to manage the process and ensure adequate quantities of materials are on site to complete the scheme.

Outputs: Improved walking surface for national trail users.

Access to be improved for all Trails users by providing smoother, wider footpath surafce Waste: Vegetation clearance will be required ahead of the works.

Arisings can be left as habitat adjacent to the path Location Ref Grid Ref: 580190, 344454 Location Map Please see attached supporting documentation for Pdf map Contractor accesses / other detail in order for quote: The current walked route of the national trail in the area is directly adjacent to the salt marsh and has a number of designations that sit on the salt marsh.

This scheme has been checked by the National Trust who are landowners and have signed off.

Natural England have agreed the scheme.

An internal habitat check has been completed for the works.
