The brief

Dorset Council is holding a Market Engagement event for Service Providers interested in submitting a tender regarding Family Support Packages for a new framework commencing in April 2023 for one year (with the potential to extend this to two years.) Family Support Packages support both internal and external colleagues to take a whole family working approach and achieve the best outcomes for eligible families who may need support with a range of criteria: getting a good education; good early years development; improved mental and physical health; promoting recovery and reducing harm from substance use; improved family relationships; children safe from abuse and exploitation; crime prevention and tackling crime; safe from domestic abuse; secure housing; financial stability.

We are seeking a range of diverse and varied Providers to deliver innovative and flexible services/interventions/activities who will form preferred provider frameworks across the Dorset Council area.

Work may be with individual children, young people, adults and or the whole family and packages could cover: • Mentoring and Befriending; • Mediation; • Therapeutic Services; • Counselling; • Parenting and Family Support; • Employability Opportunities; • Learning and Personal Development; • Positive Activities; We will be holding a webinar on Friday 6th May 10 - 11.30am via Microsoft Teams to provide more information.
