The brief

COMPOSITE CURING PRESS MANUFACTURING EQUIPMENT The press will primarily serve high volume preforming and thermoplastic matrices composites development for project work at the University.

This piece of equipment will serve the development of a current project funded by EPSRC, within the CIMComp program (Centre for Innovative Manufacturing in Composites).

It will enhance a novel compression moulding method that has been developed for high performance low cost carbon fibre composites manufacturing.
