Greenaway Rolleston Demolition and House Building

Newark and Sherwood District Council and Arkwood Developments Limited are conducting a Restricted Tender to appoint a suitably qualified supplier to perform Works on key tasks which are: • Demolition of 2 Nr council owned prefabricated bungalows and site clearance • Provision of new housing units comprising; - • Five units for Newark and Sherwood District Council 1 Nr, 1 bed bungalow @ 53 m2 2 Nr, 2 bed bungalows @ 70 m2 2 Nr, 2 bed houses @ 68 m2 • Three units for Arkwood Developments • 3 Nr, 3 bed houses @ 98 m2 • External works, comprising car parking, hard and soft landscaping, drainage and external services Stage 1 of the Restricted Tender will require bidders to download the procurement documents and complete the Supplier Selection Questionnaire, which comprises of Pass/Fail Questions as well as scored questions.

Within this document, bidders will find Appendix A and B.

The tender pack also contains Appendix C to give you the Employers' Requirements, and Newark and Sherwood District Council and Arkwood Developments Limited (The Employers) will propose to enter into two parallel contracts with the preferred supplier, both on the basis of the JCT Design and Build Standard form of Contract 2016, and an anticipated contract commencement date is 30/05/2023.

This can be found within the tender pack in Appendix D.

For the purposes of transparency, the Employers have provided Appendix E to give an overview of the whole process which is the Instructions to Bidders Document One, however this does not require completion at this stage.

Shortlisted bidders will be invited to stage 2 as explained within the documents provided.
