It is envisaged that the City of London Police enters into a contract with one supplier or a partnership of two or more providers to deliver In-Car Audio Video, Digital Interview Recording System, Body Worn Video, Digital Evidence Management System (DEMS) / Digital Asset Management System (DAMS) solution.

The aims are to: - Improve the handling, storage, and management of digital assets across the Force - Improve Officer and staff experience of managing digital assets resulting in significant time savings - Improve Victims and witnesses experience by being able to rapidly transfer evidence to the Force - Improve the process for transferring digital evidence to CPS The expected outcomes are: - Officer and Staff time savings as a result of quicker processing and management of digital assets - Improve victim and witness satisfaction with City of London Police service - Improve speed of progress of cases as digital data able to be shared with CPS earlier in the investigative cycle
