The brief

The NHS Health Check is a core component of England’s cardiovascular disease (CVD) prevention programme and invites eligible adults aged 40 – 74 years for a free check every 5 years.

The DHSC is looking to establish a single supplier framework to deliver an end-to-end home blood testing (Cholesterol and HbA1c) service through the digital NHS Health Check platform.

The framework will be used by local authorities in England.

Integration with the NHS Health Check will be an essential aspect of the service.

The DHSC is leading on the procurement and will be the framework administrator.

The contracting authorities will be all Local Authorities in England.

This is not a call for competition, but an opportunity to gather feedback to better understand market capabilities, refine the procurement strategy, and encourage supplier engagement.
