The brief

The Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services (NEPTS) are due to be recommissioned by the NHS Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care Board (SNEE ICB) at a time of considerable change in the way in which health and social care services are being commissioned and delivered.

The NEPTS services are also expected to develop and deliver differently in order to adapt to the changing health and social care landscape and to deliver the national requirements which have been released.

The SNEE ICB want to better understand the changing landscape from all perspectives before looking to recommission the NEPTS and are therefore holding an engagement event with all parties interested in the service.

This will include local stakeholders, such as Acute Trusts, Commissioners, Service Users, Voluntary and Community Sector partners and NEPTS Providers.

This event is intended to inform the future commissioning of these services locally and therefore if your organisation is interested in being part of this delivery moving forward it is imperative that you look to attend.

In order to register to attend the NEPTS Engagement Event which will take place on the 27th September 2022 please register on the In-tend portal via the following address and Express an interest on the opportunity under current tenders. https://in-tendhost.co.uk/snee-icb/aspx/Home The location of the event and an agenda will be provided to parties who have expressed an interest nearer the time through the In-tend portal.

If you have any questions regarding this event please send them as a correspondence through the In-tend portal or via email to jane.garnett@suffolk.nhs.uk
