The School of Music and Humanities at the University of Huddersfield are proposing to commence provision of a new course in Film and Television production, starting in September 2021.
The School plan to convert an existing property on our estate into new Film studio facilities with attached conferencing facilities.
The studio facility shall offer configurable use of space, i.e the use of the full studio, or divided into half or thirds with individual control functionality.
Any proposed lighting control solutions will be required to facilitate and support the division of the studio space into two or three individual operational spaces.
The aim of the tender is to procure a production lighting solution that supports HD, UHD and virtual production environments with high quality, consistent and calibrated lighting output and meets the demands of modern CMOS and FPGA technologies.
