The brief

Brent Council has an exciting opportunity as they seek to recommission their local Voluntary and Community Sector Infrastructure contract.

The aim of the contract is to support the local and voluntary and community sector through capacity building which will include supporting organisations with grant applications, organisational development, leading on large scale bids, training, lobbying and advocacy.

The successful organisation will be able to demonstrate an expertise in supporting smaller BAME led and other diverse community groups and in addition, it is expected that it will act as a strong voice on behalf of the sector, building on existing structures.

The duration of the contracts will be for an initial period of three years, with an option to extend for two years on a one plus one basis.

The total budget for the whole contract period will be up to £ £647,809 The estimated commencement of the services will be 1st October 2021 The provider we are looking for must therefore be able to demonstrate that they have a track record of delivering services of a similar nature and can evidence that they are able to achieve the best possible outcomes for stakeholders delivering services in Brent, as well as residents
