DOJ - 3488088 - NIPS Minor Works Term Service Contract

The Contracting Authority seeks to procure one Economic Operator capable of delivering minor capital works projects up to 750,000 GBP across the prison estate for the duration of the contract.

The works will encompass General Building Works, Mechanical Building Works and Electrical Building Works (including access control, CCTV, alarm installations and the like), covering the whole of the Northern Ireland prison estate.

The Economic Operator must also have the capability (as a temporary back stop position) to deliver maintenance services.

In addition, other occassional services may also be required (subject to the approval of the Norhern Ireland Prison Service) to be undertaken for other Agencies or Arms length bodies of the Department of Justice (NI) within the boundaries of Northern Ireland.

The Contract will be awarded for a period of 5 years with the option to terminate at the end of Year 3, Year 4 or at any time as may be deemed necessary by the Contracting Authority.
