The Youth Service aims to provide a wide range of high-quality engaging opportunities and activities for young people aged 11-19 (up to age 25 if they have additional needs) to enable them to build their social and emotional skills, develop their own projects and enjoy safe spaces.
These two lots will form part of a wider youth services provision that include other specialist services such as Arts, SEND, Young People Transition and Centre Based Universal Services.
The provision will be divided in two lots: • LOT 1 ARTS (Annual Value £70,000) – Provision of Youth Arts Activity programme for young people, 11-19 year olds (up to age 25 with SEN) with a range of activities which allow them to experience arts and culture including a full and varied programme across term time and holiday periods including: a) Design art (fashion, graphic design) b) Film (including animation) c) Music (e.g. composing, performing, sound art) d) Performing arts (including dance, theatre and comedy) e) Visual arts (including drawing, painting and photography) f) Accreditation of arts activity • LOT 2 DETACHED TEAMS (Annual value £295,000) - provision of street-based youth work outreach with hard to reach groups of young people; The lot will cover: North East Quadrant; North East Quadrant; South East Quadrant; South East Quadrant; and Borough Central.
