The brief

The recent Covid-19 pandemic lockdowns has resulted in a higher number of safeguarding concerns being raised within Kent County Council Adult Social Care.

To ensure the Local Authority meets its statutory duties the council is looking to procure a managed service to support with current demand to fulfil its section 42 obligations for a period of 6 months.

We are looking for agencies who can provide the following • 20 fully qualified and experienced Social Workers to lead and oversee safeguarding activity • Be accountable in the role of Designated Safeguarding officer • Manage the progression of Safeguarding enquiries, which include a significant proportion of highly complex cases which require a high level of specialist expertise. • Social workers who can provide direction and guidance for Safeguarding Officers.

We are looking for a hybrid of staff – remote working and an element within Kent to support face to face visits when required.
