Brighter Futures for Children’s (BFfC) drive is to improve the quality of services and to ensure that pupils living in Reading have access to the services they need.To help fulfil this commitment BFfC requires alternative provision (AP) services that meet the required standard and statutory regulations as detailed in this Specification.BFfC addresses the needs of vulnerable pupils across the continuum of provision from mainstream school through to AP or special school placements according to assessed needs.
