Cinema Operation of the BFI IMAX
The procurement contact named on the official notice.
The BFI IMAX building is located in the centre of the Waterloo roundabout in Central London in a prominent position opposite Waterloo Station.
It is an iconic site, at the centre of 4 main vehicular routes – including Waterloo Bridge.
The building opened as an IMAX cinema in May 1999 and is still in use as a cinema.
In 2012, the operation of the cinema was outsourced.
This contract is now up for renewal and the BFI is therefore re-tendering to the market.
An in-house bid from a BFI Bid Team will be run alongside the tender process and be evaluated against the same evaluation criteria.
This bid will be independently run and submitted.
