The Rural Leadership Programme (RLP) has been running since 2006 and is targeted at business leaders and key influencers from across Scotland’s rural areas with a focus on agriculture (as a key part of the food and drink supply chain), energy, tourism and rural services sectors.
The aim of the programme is to assist Scottish rural business leaders to create additional wealth through leading effectively, team working, networking, influencing and by being ambitious.
It does this by developing the capacity of individuals, building their confidence to lead, widening their boundaries, building industry and parliamentary trust, providing an awareness of rural economic and broader issues, and introducing individuals to the wider rural leadership network.
It is anticipated that the contract will commence on the 9th of August 2022.
