The brief

The Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care System (ICS) is seeking to commission short-term bed capacity within residential & nursing settings for those aged 65+ years.

The purpose of the beds is to provide short-term support for discharges from Norfolk & Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (NNUH), Queen Elizabeth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust King’s Lynn (QEHKL), and James Paget University NHS Hospital Foundation Trust (JPUH).

The beds will be commissioned on a block basis from circa 1st October 2022 until 31st March 2023.

Contracting and funding will be directly through the NHS Integrated Care Board (ICB), formerly Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).
