The brief

The Council is conducting this procurement through the open procedure to identify the provider(s) for the requirement.

The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme is a programme funded by the Department for Education (DfE).

This funding is for the 152 upper tier local authorities to coordinate and provide free holiday provision including healthy food and enriching activities.

The supplier will work with the local authority to coordinate and implement the HAF programme in Northamptonshire, all services should be delivered in line with the Department for Education Guidance for the Holiday Activities and Food Programme.

The supplier is responsible for ensuring there is a sufficient supply of places for eligible children to attend Holiday Activity and Food programme provision in each of the holiday periods.

It is not expected that the supplier will deliver services directly themselves but that they will work with local deliver partners who will deliver the services to children, young people and their families.
