LUV01112 - Framework for the Provision of Fire Door Inspections at the University of Leicester
The University of Leicester wishes to enter into a framework with 3 providers for the test and inspection of its fire doors.
The University requires competent contractors to carry out annual fire door inspections to all fire doors across the estate, in all properties.
Approximately 15,000 fire doors are to be inspected and reported on in accordance with the Fire Door Maintenance Checklist.
It is the University’s intention to appoint three suppliers to the framework agreement, each company will receive orders to inspect a minimum of 4,000 doors each year.
The contract is for 3 years from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2025 with an option to extend by a further 24 months to 31 December 2027.
