The Forestry Commission have a future requirement for the analysis of the direct and indirect impacts of development on ancient woodland (i.e. where and how).

This includes the identification and recommendation of appropriate mitigation measures to assist local planning authorities in ensuring proportionate consideration in plan preparation, as well as spatial analysis and digital mapping.
