DGFS also hires commercial vehicles and plant.<br/>Through the issuing of this Prior Information Notice (PIN), DGFS wish to notify and engage the market to understand both supplier capability and the level of interest in this opportunity.
Full details are included below.<br/><br/>DGFS are planning a supplier engagement event at 11:00 BST on the 5th June 2023, where there will be a short presentation detailing the opportunity and information on the key areas for consideration under the new framework agreement(s).
Following the presentation, on the 8th June 2023, a number of 45 minute time slots will be made available to the potential suppliers to have individual discussions for the managing lot (1).

This approach may change depending on the outcome of engagement.
An outline of the proposed lots is detailed below.
The intention is to award Lot 1 to a single managing agent supplier.
Lot 2 to 7 may be awarded to a single supplier, or multiple suppliers.
Please not, this information is subject to change and other asset types may be required throughout the lifetime of the framework.<br/><br/>Lot 1: Managing Agent: <br/>- Single supplier of these services<br/>- Manage framework suppliers across Lots 2 to 7<br/>- Single point of contact for DGFS Contract Manager and Contract Users<br/><br/>Lot 2(a) : Plant Equipment:<br/>- Plant equipment, including the following asset groups:<br/>- Excavators up to 8t<br/>- Telehandlers<br/>- Rollers<br/>- Excavator Attachments<br/>- Dumpers<br/>- Tracked Dumpers up to 3t<br/>- Forklifts<br/>- MEWP<br/><br/>Lot 2 (b) -Site Provision<br/>Site provision and security equipment including:<br/>- Lighting<br/>- Bowsers<br/>- Generators<br/>- Traffic Management<br/>- Fencing<br/>- Temporary Access systems<br/><br/>Lot 3: Accommodation<br/>Accommodation and welfare equipment including:<br/>- Toilets<br/>- Welfare Units – Static, Towable and Mobile<br/>- Storage Units<br/>- Welfare Units – Static<br/><br/>Lot 4:Pumps<br/>Pumping equipment and supplies including:<br/>- Petrol/Electric pumps up to 3”<br/>- Diesel driven pumps up to 12” – skid mounted and towed<br/>- Electric Submersible up to 24” (must deliver 1 cumec minimum)<br/>- Hydraulic Pumps up to 12”<br/><br/>Lot 5: Operated plant including:<br/>- Long Reach Excavators<br/>- Dumpers<br/>- Dump Trucks<br/>- Dozers<br/><br/>Lot 6: Agricultural plant and equipment including:<br/>- Tractors<br/>- Bank Mowers<br/>- Remote Control Mowers<br/>- Agricultural Dump & Plant Trailers<br/>- Woodchippers<br/><br/>Lot 7: Heavy plant including:<br/>- Long Reach Excavators<br/>- Excavator Attachments<br/>- Excavators over 8t<br/>- Dump Trucks<br/>- Tracked Dumpers 3t and over<br/>- Dozers<br/>- Backhoe Loader 8t and over<br/>- Loading Shovels
