John Rabson’s Recreation Ground is a very popular park that has several facilities such as a children’s play area, grass football pitches, 5G football pitches, tennis course and an adjoining leisure centre.Reading Borough Council propose to install a skate park at this site for the use of the wider community.
Design of the new facility is to create a design that is safe and accessible for all wheel users such as scooters, BMX and skateboard riders.The appointed contractor will project manage all aspects of the design development, build and maintenance of the site from planning application through to consultation, build and a post installation inspection once the build is complete.You should therefore include all elements of the Skate Park design, planning process, consultation, construction, delivery, and installation costs within your quotation.BudgetThe budget figure is £275,000 excluding V.A.T.
