The brief

Great Places is a forward-thinking, inclusive and successful organisation which exists to improve the lives of the thousands of people living in its portfolio of over 25,000 homes.

Great Places is seeking feedback from Contractors and Consultants that are able to help deliver its planned and ad hoc investment and improvement works in line with relevant standards and regulations in the North West and South Yorkshire.

This Early Engagement Notice is published to encourage market engagement and research, serving as an opportunity for suppliers to have their say and offer feedback, to help inform the development of the requirements prior to release of the tender, estimated Autumn-Winter 2023.

The proposed framework covers 8 workstreams- Roofing Kitchens and Bathrooms Windows and Doors Hand Landscaping Fencing Cyclical painting and decorating Electric Heating Consultancy The total framework value is estimated to be in the region of £44m over a 4 year duration.

This market engagement exercise aims to capture market intelligence for - Location and capacity Housing Association experience Pricing mechanisms Best practice Feedback will be captured through a survey, that can be accessed by emailing stephanie.cameron@greatplaces.org.uk.

Please note that the final date for completed surveys is Tuesday 1st August 2023.

Great Places is publishing this notice to facilitate early engagement with potential providers.

It relates only to pre-procurement market engagement in accordance with Regulation 40 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.

It is not a Call for Competition.

For avoidance of doubt, participation in this market engagement exercise is not a prerequisite to bid for the tender.

The tender will be conducted in accordance with the Open Procedure.
