The brief

The Sound and Vision project will reimagine the gallery spaces on levels 3 and 5 of the National Science and Media Museum in Bradford to create two new object-rich and accessible permanent galleries.

They will tell the histories of sound and vision technologies, embedding the stories of local people into broader narratives of national and international interest.

The galleries will be launched during Bradford’s year as City of Culture in 2025, and have a lifespan of 25 years.
