Supported and Residential Accommodation for Children and Young people

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council, Children Services is inviting suitably qualified organisations to attend a market engagement to hear about opportunities that exist in the Borough to develop Supported and Residential Accommodation for Children and Young people, through the utilisation of two buildings identified by the Local Authority.We are looking at innovation and creative ways the building could be utilised for children and young people, in particular transitioning from Residential to Supported Accommodation.Supported Accommodation is now Regulated by Ofsted, as is Residential Accommodation.

Providers will need to ensure that they have the necessary, skills, understanding and infrastructure to support the development of this provision.

In return Dudley will support and use where deemed appropriate the provision for the benefit of their children and young people and extend this opportunity to other neighbouring authorities to utilise.
