Radius Homes Limited (Radius) is seeking to select an architect-led, multi-disciplinary design team to lead the mixed use development on two sites in the Cavehill and Westland Road area of North Belfast.
This development will consist of a new circa 120 unit, housing scheme and the refurbishment of an existing Parish Hall on the Cavehill Road for use as a club house for a Golf Club.
It is anticipated that this scheme will include both social and affordable housing, adjoining and fully integrating with the provision of an upgraded club house and community facility for Cliftonville Golf Club.
The proposed design contest therefore seeks a housing development which will integrate with the adjoining golf club facilities and provide high quality homes for families and individuals in the North of the city.
The design contest should propose an innovative, high quality housing offer; one which reflects the unique characteristics of the subject lands and their surrounding environs while also challenging the perception of social housing design and delivery.
