The Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) (the "Authority") wishes to select and appoint a suitable contractor for the "Supply of Calibration, Inspection, and Repair services for in Service Radiological Detection and Identification Equipment." The SO15 EOD/CBRN unit use various handheld radiological detection and radio-isotope identification equipment in CT operations.
This equipment requires annual calibration to ensure operational assurances are met.
The initial contract is to cover 4 years with an option to extend by up to 12 months subject to cost negotiations.
Quantity or scope: Calibration, inspection, and repair of up to 265 units of various radiological detection and radioisotope identification equipment: 111 (one hundred and eleven) Tracerco PED+ 20 (twenty) Thermo RadEye B20 13 (thirteen) Thermo RadEye SX 37 (thirty seven) Rotem RamGene 1 (MK2) 16 (sixteen) Georadis RT-30 2 (two) Ortec Detective X 14 (fourteen) Ortec Radeaglet 50 (fifty) Electronic Personal Dosimeters 2 (two) Neutron Monitor
