Severn Trent understands that in order to meet the requirement of Zero Spills in a practical and achievable way, that a combination of technologies and techniques are needed to establish a viable solution.

At the request for proposal stage suppliers will be required to submit proposals in line with the one or all of the four categories outlined below. • Support optimisation - particularly (but not limited to) AI and Smart Control across both the waste network and waste treatment • Enable separation - through but not limited to rainwater harvesting, separation of surface water and reuse options. • Provide treatment enhancement or upstream/network treatment • Create smart storage solutions and including temporary and intelligent sewer flushing solutions
