Scotland's Railway Lineside Framework Supplier/SME Engagement Event
Scotland's Railway will soon be commencing procurement of a Lineside Framework for Tree and Vegetation Management (Clearance & Maintenance) and boundary renewals.
The Framework will be split into two distinct categories and this event is focused on category 2 which is an exciting opportunity, particularly for Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) as the intention is to split this category into 4 boundaries (3 suppliers in each) to support our delivery units across Scotland.
This will provide a great opportunity for up to 12 suppliers to get on to the Framework.
Ahead of procurement beginning later this year, Network Rail will be holding a Supplier Engagement Event where SMEs and other interested suppliers can find out more about this opportunity, including; The importance of SME involvement in Lineside Vegetation What is required to work Lineside in the Railway industry Overview of the Procurement process - an SME friendly approach What to expect Post Contract if successful Opportunity for questions and to feedback on the proposed strategies.
Network Rail intends to hold this in-person at the following time and location: Thursday 24th October 2024 at 3:30pm - 5pm.
The Studio, 67 Hope Street, Glasgow, G2 6AE Interested parties are invited to confirm attendance via the BRAVO platform (https://networkrail.bravosolution.co.uk) by 12noon on Tuesday 22nd October 2024.
