The Council wishes to invite tenders for the supply services in respect of being the local Health and Social Care consumer champion and watchdog representing the views of local residents of all ages, advocating and influencing the delivery and commissioning of Health and Social Care services as set out in the Health and Social Care Act 2012, and any variation thereof.
The overall aim of the Service is to provide an effective and efficient local Healthwatch in Rutland, which promotes and supports the involvement of residents in the commissioning and provision of local services and enables local people to gain support to make informed choices about their health, care and wellbeing.

The anticipated contract commencement date is 1st April 2025.
The Council proposes to enter one contract for an initial period of 60 months with the preferred supplier, with an option to extend for a further period of 36 months in 12-month increments, making 96 months in total.
Any proposed extension is subject to satisfactory performance by the supplier and in accordance with the Council’s business requirements.
Any proposed extension to the contract will be agreed in writing between the Council and the supplier.
The total budget for this contract is £395,000.00(exclusive of VAT) for the initial period of the contract 1st April 2025 to 31st March 2030.
