Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service (TWFRS) adopt and implement the NFCC Competency Framework for Fire Safety Regulators, which has been developed for use by Fire Safety Regulators within the UK.

The objectives of this project is to secure the services of a suitable qualification for operational sector competent staff to enable them to identify and report any fire safety issues in the course of their duty.
