Peak District National Park Authority
Settlement Analysis and Capacity Assessments
The procurement contact named on the official notice.
The Peak District National Park Authority (PDNPA) is seeking a multi-disciplinary consultancy (with specialists in landscape, cultural heritage, planning and ecology) to support us, in the review of the Local Plan, to understand the capacity for development in 23 key settlements within the context of our first purpose, which is to conserve and enhance the Peak District National Park's landscape, wildlife and cultural heritage.
The project comprises a desk-based analysis, site assessments (including LVIA) and settlement capacity scoring with corresponding outputs at each stage.
The final document will be a map (GIS) and text-based settlement landscape sensitivity and capacity assessment for each settlement.
