Provision of Support at Oasis House

The provision is for people who have support needs and have experienced rough sleeping or at risk of rough sleeping.

This helps contribute to the Authority's commitments, supporting delivery against the following strategic aims and outcomes, to: • prevent people sleeping rough for the first time; • support people currently sleeping rough to move off the streets; • support people who have slept rough to ensure they do not return to the street; • prevent people from offending and re-offending; • de-escalate crisis points in service user's lives and prevent escalation into crisis; • prevent or delay the need for people to access Adult Social Care services, Primary Health Care services and to prevent or delay entry into institutional care or clinical services; • promote the independence of service users and the development of independent living skills; • prevent or limit social exclusion and isolation; • promote the financial management skills needed for tenancy sustainment.
