Responsibility for commissioning the statutory 0-5 Specialist Community Public Health Nursing services transferred from NHS England to the Council on 1st October 2015.
These services are comprised of the Health Visiting service and the Family Nurse Partnership service, which both deliver the Healthy Child Programme to families with children, starting in pregnancy until the child is 5 years old.
