Sale or Disposal of Surplus Equipment and Assets

Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (KCH) and its wholly owned subsidiary, Kings Interventional Facilities Management LLP (KFM), are seeking to engage with suppliers capable of providing a fully managed service for the sale or environmentally responsible disposal of surplus equipment and assets.

The equipment may include: Medical equipment and diagnostic devices Laboratory and clinical assets General estate machinery and office equipment The appointed supplier(s) will be expected to: Manage the end-to-end process for asset resale or ethical disposal Identify and engage suitable resale markets Ensure environmentally responsible recycling where resale is not viable Comply with NHS governance, regulatory, and environmental standards Provide regular reporting on financial outcomes, disposal volumes, and sustainability performance Suppliers will be required to submit a detailed fee schedule as part of the formal tender process.
