The brief

We require classroom building and refurbishment works at our East Riding College in Beverley.

This will consist of: Remove ‘moveable wall’ from BS11/BS14 and replace with fully soundproof fixed wall Remove ‘moveable wall’ from BF23 / BF24 and replace with fully soundproof fixed wall Remove wall between BF19 & BF20 including removal of electrics and data points Remove wall between BF20 & BF21 including removal of electrics and data points Remove glass wall between BF19 & BF24, BF20 & BF24 & BF21 & BF24 Install fully soundproof wall in BF24 to divide the room, as per the drawings attached, using the space previously taken by BF20 & BF21.

Create additional classroom on second floor (please quote for all options below): Option 1) Install a new door into BS26 from existing fire escape landing, moving any existing electrics and remove and make good existing doorway from BS26 into BS27.

Install CCTV camera system into fire escape from ground floor to 3rd floor to cover all entrance and exit doors.

Removal and relocation of ‘refuge call point’ and encapsulation of dry riser system on 2nd floor landing.

Option 2: Install a stud wall corridor in BS27 and install new door from the corridor into BS27, retaining existing entrance into BS26.

Option 3: Install a glass wall corridor in BS27 and install new door from the corridor into BS27, retaining existing entrance into BS26.
