Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS)
The procurement contact named on the official notice.
The submission route named on the official notice.
Midland Heart requires a Disaster as a Service (DRaaS) solution from a trusted contractor to keep our organisation safe and return our systems to full operation as soon as practically possible.
We are looking to encompass the provision of comprehensive cloud-based solutions to ensure business resilience, continuity and data protection in the event of system failures, cyberattacks, or natural disasters.
This should include the replication and hosting of physical and virtual servers by the supplier to enable swift recovery and minimal downtime 24/7, 365 days a year.
The contractor should ensure that their solution is adaptable to enhanced security advancements, aligns with cloud-native principles, zero trust networking, provides flexibility and scalability to adapt to evolving enterprise integration patterns and cloud migration.
A new DRaaS will align to our IT Strategy and meets the following strategic drivers: • Staying Secure – Replacing our current DRaaS will ensure that we have a service which aligns to our cyber security principle of zero trust, but will also ensure that we are utilising latest, efficient and secure technologies creating enhanced business resilience. • Value for Money – Our current DRaaS has been in place for a significant period of time without a review of how we can reduce costs and demonstrate value for money whilst achieving business resiliency. • Cloud Optimisation – We would like to reduce energy consumption and physical footprint and drive green efficiencies by utilising the Cloud more.
