The brief

Neath Port Talbot Council (the “Council”) invite tenders from quality domiciliary care providers for the recommissioning of our adult domiciliary care services under a new 'Open' Framework, the aim of which is to deliver care to adults living in their own homes, to support them to achieve improved outcomes.

The Framework will establish a pool of suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver high-quality, person-centred domiciliary care services to individuals in their own homes and is being procured as a ‘light touch’ framework and therefore not obliged to follow all the obligations contained within the Procurement Act 2023.

Call-off arrangements under the Framework are expected to be undertaken through a brokerage-led allocation process, whereby individual care packages are matched to providers based on meeting essential criteria.
