The brief

These include flats, houses, and bungalows used for short- or medium-term housing provision.

The purpose of these surveys is to identify the presence, condition, and associated risks of asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) within these properties, and to support the Council in managing these risks in accordance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 (CAR 2012)..

The appointed contractor must be UKAS-accredited and demonstrate a proven track record in delivering asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264 and the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 (CAR 2012).
