Jisc’s Cloud Managed Services team is looking to procure a FinOps solution from a single provider.
The successful solution will be predominately deployed by Jisc as the main user (use case (1) and (2)), however there is scope that the solution is in-directly made available to Jisc members and customers (use case (3).
Usage cases The solution will be used for reporting Jisc’s internal Cloud usage (Primary use).
The team are looking to integrate the FinOps solution into the Managed cloud service available via the G-Cloud14 Framework.
This is used for reporting and billing by Jisc across customer Cloud consumption and Microsoft licensing.
Further, the team will explore reselling the FinOps solution via the G-Cloud15 Framework, separate from the Managed cloud service, in due course.
Please note that the stated contract value represents Jisc's and its customers' estimated cloud consumption, based over a full 4 year contract period.
