Godmanchester Community Plant Nursery is a 4.5-acre site with orchards, meadows, woodland and gardens, which is managed by the town council but cared for by over 50 volunteers..
To grow further, we seek a building to securely store equipment such as compact tractors, ride on mowers, handheld petrol equipment but that can also proved essential office space for our growing staff team.
This project includes all groundworks and the construction of three separate internal rooms (two offices and one staff room).
The project will support the expansion of our operations and enhance the services the community nursery provides..

Scope of Works 2.1 General Overview The works shall include, but not be limited to: - Full site preparation and groundworks - Supply and installation of a steel-framed building (13m x 13m) - Concrete foundation and floor slab - External cladding and roofing - Installation of: - One (1) roller shutter door (manual or electric - to be specified) - Multiple PVC windows (size and quantity to be agreed on-site) - Internal construction of: - Two (2) separate office rooms - One (1) staff room/breakroom, possibly storage - Electrical and lighting installation - Roof gutters will feed into a water tank positioned adjacent to the building. - Planning services - External finishes to match existing surroundings 3.
