The procurement contact named on the official notice.
Community Urgent and Minor Eye Service: Enables patients to self-refer to an Community Optometrist of choice in the Glossop area when they have a minor eye condition.
Service provides care to approximately 1,700 patients for a range of minor eye conditions and has the ability to refer directly into Hospital Eye Services if clinically indicated.
It reduces the burden on General Practice, Hospital Eye Services and provides care closer to home for patients.
In line with recently announced clustering of ICBs (Derby & Derbyshire, Nottingham & Nottinghamshire, and Lincolnshire) service continuity is required.
The process is in alignment with the NHS 10 Year Plan which has a focus on providing more care outside of hospitals.
