The brief

The three Forces (Gwent, South Wales and Dyfed Powys Police) have established a Vehicle Recovery Scheme (VRS) Unit for the collaborative administration of the Vehicle Recovery Scheme on behalf of each Police Service to improve the interoperability and sustainability of the service across Southern Wales.

The VRS Unit Manager will be the Single Point of Contact in relation to this contract when operational for the purposes of day to day liaison and management obligations.

The aim is for shared access and reporting of activity, performance, response times and complaint information to provide significant insights into operational policing and proactivity to lead to service delivery improvements and wider benefits to the Police Services and wider public.

Each Force will require a separate ELVIS

Each Force will require a separate ELVIS Instance to record the relevant Force transactions and provide Force reporting.
