UKAEA C8 Refurbishment for UKIFS on 1st & 2nd Floor

The fit out of C8 is being designed by AtkinsRealis in liaison with both UKAEA and UKIFS for long-term tenanted occupation as part of the site-wide organisation of departmental placement, this is to aid the congregation of teams along with enabling the emptying of other buildings that are ear-marked for future demolition.

It is being proposed that Kier Construction, who built C8 are awarded these fit-out works due to several critical technical, contractual, and risk-related factors, which ensures continuity, minimises risk, and aligns with stakeholder expectations.
