The Scottish Prison Service (SPS) is initiating a procurement project to migrate its primary prisoner management system, PR2, from the legacy Oracle Forms and Reports platform (version 12.2.1.4), currently backed by an Oracle 19c database, to a modern, open-source, solution hosted in the Cloud.
This transition is aimed at improving scalability, maintainability, and alignment with contemporary digital standards.
