The brief

The Executive Mayor’s Employment Fund (MEF) will commission a suite of employment-related services that support residents to enter, re-enter or progress in work, education or training.

Services should provide a structured offer that combines personalised employability support with access to training, work-related activity, employer engagement and in-work support, so that participants are not only helped into opportunities but are also supported to sustain and progress.

It will be procured as a single programme structured into five pathways or lots, covering youth provision, care experienced young people, residents experiencing or at risk of homelessness, veterans, and a small grants and community events strand designed to strengthen engagement and progression routes.

We are pleased to invite you to attend a Provider and Community Briefing on the Mayor’s Employment Fund (MEF), taking place on Wednesday 17th December 2025 from 10:30 to 12:00.

The session will be held at Bernard Weatherill House – please report to Corporate Reception just before 10:20, where colleagues will meet you and escort you to the meeting room.

If you wish to attend this event please email Marlon.Bruce@Croydon.gov.uk by Friday 12th December 2025, so we can finalise arrangements and refreshments.
