Portreath Flood Resilience Terrestrial BNG
The procurement contact named on the official notice.
This is a large award for Environment & Waste — above three-quarters of comparable contracts. Based on 11,894 valued Environment & Waste tenders in our corpus.
We are seeking initial market feedback on options for securing off‑site Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) units to support a project in Cornwall.
This early engagement will help inform our approach ahead of any potential future procurement.
The project site includes areas of modified grassland, other neutral grassland, bramble scrub, mixed scrub and other broadleaved woodland along with native hedgerows.
We are seeking BNG units of medium distinctiveness to align with losses of the below-named habitat types, or the equivalent number of units of habitats from the same broad habitat type or higher distinctiveness, as required to meet habitat trading rules.
Please note, the units required are approximate numbers and may be subject to minor variation following a BNG post scheme assessment. • bramble scrub 1 unit • mixed scrub 1 unit • other neutral grassland 1 unit • modified grassland 2 units • broadleaved woodland 2 units • arable field margins- tussocky 2 units • native hedgerow 1 units Please complete our PME Questionnaire, available at the following link: https://forms.office.com/Pages/DesignPageV2.aspx?origin=NeoPortalPage&subpage=design&id=UCQKdycCYkyQx044U38RAlq1mT0X4LpKvSQWUBcBWuJUNFAwUk1WSVROU043Wks2V1FGNlNKNERLNy4u IMPORTANT NOTICE: This is a request for information only, not a call for competition.
