Strategic and Local Plan Viability Assessment

The overarching methodological requirement is to prepare a Viability Assessment for the Strategic and Local Plan.

Suppliers are invited to indicate how they would do this in a manner consistent with the requirements and guidance prescribed by National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) and published government guidance (PPG)and the required study outputs outlined below, in the most cost-effective and time-efficient way, whilst maintaining high quality standards and robustness.

Should national policies and guidance pertaining to the preparation of Viability Assessments of local plans be issued or altered during preparation of the Final Report, and/or any pertinent comments are made by Local Plan inspectors in respect to the methodology and scope of Viability Assessments, it is expected that the study will be updated to reflect any revised requirements, in discussion with the Authorities.…
